Director: Ajay Pannalal
Producer: Tony D’Souza, Amul Vikas Mohan.
Ajay Pannalal’s ‘Behan Hogi Teri’ is the story of a locality of Lucknow. There are many screws in this love story of Gattu and Binny who live in the same street. Gattu and such a young man do not believe in the philosophy of ‘All the girls of Mohalla are sisters’. On the day of Rakhi they are running away so that no girl can bind Rakhi. Like the other boys of Gattu also try to escape from this. Daboo and Gattu like Binny of neighborhood. He wants to marry with him.
In “Behan Hogi Teri” Rajkumar Rao has to make an extra effort. To get Punjabi, Haryana and hill families in the background of Lucknow itself, it seems to be a wasteful exercise. They do not even play the role of Lucknow. The presence of the city in this movie is not with the beats. There is lack of accent and profits of Lucknow.
The authors-directors will have chosen such characters in some thought, but they can not add anything to the film’s story. There are many great artists in film. They are screwed in script boundaries. Their contribution is not visible.
